Introducing you to us!

Over the Moon Escapes is owned and run by a married couple, Cat and Brett. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to us and what our business is about. 

We have established our new business to provide a quality, personalised travel service for people who love to travel. As a couple we are very passionate about travelling and enjoying new experiences when we travel. We have squeezed in a lot of travelling in a short period of time together which would have been a lot more had we not had the inevitable non travel periods Covid brought upon us all. We have both  travelled extensively prior to us being a couple.

It was on a trip to the Maldives early in 2022 that we made the decision to start Over the Moon Escapes, to be honest we almost did this 6 years ago but felt it was not right for us at that time. Whilst we were on holiday we heard so many people with terrible stories of poor experiences with travel companies in the UK that we instinctively knew we could do better, a lot better.

Over the Moon Escapes is our second business, our first is a handmade home fragrance and gift company which we have built through providing excellent customer service and gaining a good reputation. We both pride ourselves on looking after and caring about our customers. This passion for customer service will be brought into our new business.

Just like most people we work hard all year and enjoy looking forward to going on and being on holiday. We also know that searching for the perfect holiday takes time. We want to take the stress out of finding you a holiday and ensuring it meets all your expectations. 

We will be with you every step of the way from booking to flying to travelling home. That means that if you have a question we are here (and there are no silly questions). We will ensure that you are fully informed throughout, making sure any entry requirements are followed. We can book your trips and experiences on holiday. If you are celebrating a special occasion we will help you do it well. Need a great restaurant recommendation or a reservation making; thats what we are here for. And if there is a problem we are here to help you with that problem; that is the benefit of booking with independent agents like us. You get to speak to a real person who genuinely cares about your holiday. 

We can offer travel to most destinations across this wonderful world we live in. We do have a very special affinity with the Maldives which has become our go to destination over the last few years. We also love Thailand, Santorini and were married in Mauritius which has a very special place in our hearts. 

Expect us to get excited alongside you when you enquire and book with us. We love all things travel. We will want to see your holiday pictures and to hear all about it. 

Whether you are booking a couples getaway, a honeymoon or wedding, a family holiday, a spcial occasion break or a group trip we are here to help. We will take our time to listen and understand what you are looking for and try hard to find it for you.

We live in North Lincolnshire but our other business is in East Yorkshire and are very flexible.

Outside of our business and when we are not travelling you will find us spending time with our wonderful black labrador Max (also known as Max Moon!), enjoying our home and getting out for lovely walks in the beautiful countryside. And we spend a lot of time talking about where to go next!
